News from Alan Caldwell Associates

'Funding your Future' Events

To meet the challenges of the recession and public sector funding crisis Alan Caldwell Associates are offering tailored review events and fundraising advice to community based organisations. Having raised over £2 mllion from the public, charitable and private sector over the last 18 months these events are proving very popular. To discuss an event for your organisation you can contact Alan here .

In the last 18 months Alan has raised almost £2 million for community based projects across the UK.  Approaching 75% of this funding has been for asset development projects with enterprising communities and third sector organisations.  90% of the funding is in support of a low carbon future. As a practice we have an indepth knowledge of securing grant funding from the charitable, public and European sectors.  More recently we have been aquiring the skills required to take project plans through the credit panels of commercial banks.  We are now specialising in community share issues and innovative ways for organisations and communities to finance their future. Through regular collaboration with associates such as Stephen Phillips at Burness Solicitors we have a track record in delivering legal structures to support communities and organisations in their fundraising.

We have developed a structured workshop to enable organisations to review their current funding models and help them to become financially self supporting in the future.  This workshop will help your organisation to take stock and make good strategic decisions on where and how to access the money you need for your work. We are increasingly offering a follow-on service to help secure the funding identified in the workshop.

With continued uncertainty over the future of the government's Climate Challenge Fund and current funding running to March 2011, Alan is already working with a number of projects to help them ensure they have funding beyond this deadline.
