We help communities to understand and use the community right to buy legislation in the Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2003. We have the skills, understanding and legal associates to assist communities at every stage of this legislation.
We run sessions to inform, inspire and help communities to assess the potential of using this legislation. We help to set up community organisations to lead the right to buy application and organise the 'registration of interest' in a piece of land.
We have organised successful ballots, negotiated the bureaucracy of the Act and raised the funding for land purchase. Crucially, we have the experience to help communities prepare business plans, develop their asset and secure the finance to sustain their work.
